You can reach me at eric@locallyringed.space - and please do! I generally respond to emails within a business day or so (i.e., no weekends or vacation days) in the order I receive them. Please address me as Eric.
For students: before you shoot me an email, it's good practice to check if your question is answered in your course materials (syllabus, calendar, assignment instructions, etc). I've also written a FAQ page to address some common questions. If your question is answered by the course materials or the FAQ, my reply will send you there.
To request a meeting with me, look at the calendar to the right to find a time I am free that works for you, and then email me to request that time. Please give at least 24 hours advance notice for your requested meeting time to allow for calendar syncing issues. I'll respond to your email with confirmation and any necessary additional information (e.g., location or zoom link). Barring special circumstances, I am only available to meet 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday in my current time zone. The calendar should automatically display events in your local time, assuming your browser has access to your time zone. (One way this might not be the case is if you're using a vpn, for instance.)

For the sake of your privacy, I do not reply to student emails when they are not sent from your university email address. For similar reasons, I do not discuss grades over (any) email. If you are a student who has emailed me from a personal email, resend the email from your university account. If you are a student who would like to discuss grades, request a meeting with me as outlined above.
I am also available for tutoring, as long as you are not my current student. I can tutor any math subject. Email me for information, testimonials, availability, and pricing.
If the calendar does not load in five seconds, click here. Once every few months the server that hosts this calendar goes down for maintenance temporarily, so as a backup, Apple devices (iOS, macOS, iPadOS, ...) can also subscribe to the calendar feed. I use Apple Calendar so I can't guarantee the subscription is non-Apple compatible.
